Had this drawing sitting in my sketchbook since I got it in, what, August? Anyway, in every sketchbook I ever had, I wanted a cool first image that inspires me and gives viewers a peek into what's to come. The problem is I've never been able to finish one... until now! : D

It's not that great, but I'm just proud that I got this done. It was also a good excuse to try to figure out Zemti's new color palette. Dunno if that's final or not.

The quotes are as follows:
Red 1=Andrew Stanton
Red 2=Ollie Johnston
Orange=Frank Thomas
Yellow=John Lasseter
Green=Ward Kimball
Light Blue=Uh.... I don't know. I just wrote it down one day. Px
Blue=Walt Disney
Purple=My dad

Yush! Zemti is now an actual Egyptian Mau for the sake of me not defaulting to black cats all the time. Now just to figure out how to make an appealing pattern for the stripes and spots that I won't kill myself each time I draw them. xD;

Hahahaha, good luck with a silver tabby pattern. They'll always be kind of annoying to simplify, but super fun to paint! C: I do kinda like the grey for him, it suits his mystical nature. Loooool, probably good you didn't make him a sphinx. XD

Yeah. It brings me back to when I always tried to draw my cat and I HATED her patterns and got them wrong every time. We'll see how it'll go with Zemti. xD

I like the gray more for him, too. Egyptian Maus are such pretty, exotic cats and he seems to fit perfectly. And ohgod, he'd be terrifying as a Sphinx. His human face is definitel not meant to be seen on a cat body thing. xP
