My next event is next weekend! If you happen to be in the Orange County, CA area, stop by Ground Zero Animation Expo! There are bunches of talented artists in and breaking into the animation industry. There's art for sale, workshops to go to, the whole shebang! I'll be selling prints of my artwork and just happy to say hi and talk shop with anyone. Hope to see you there!
Yup. It hurts to do so, but I'm selling most of my comic book collection on Amazon. I just don't have the space for them all where I currently live and I need the money. Pretty much all of them are being sold at the price printed on their covers. I don't care much for investment value or whatever makes comics cost more than they say they are. I just need to make some cash to pay the bills. I also have more books I couldn't find listings for on Amazon, so feel free to send me a note if any of them catch your eye:

  • Invincible Iron Man (2008) #5, #9
  • Thor (2010) #619-#621
  • The Mighty Thor (2011) #18-#22
  • Journey Into Mystery (2011) #628, #633-#645
  • Young Avengers (2013) #9, #14
  • Samurai Jack #5-#6
  • Ms Marvel (2014) #11-#15
  • Batman: Black and White #3
  • Edward Scissorhands #6
  • Edge of Spider-Verse #2 (Third Printing)
  • Steven Universe #4-#5, #7
  • Misc Marvel, Magnetic Press, Boom! Studios

Just putting in another plug that my commissions are open and I have shops where you can buy my art or things with my art on it. Can't make more of it if I can't support myself, so every little bit helps!

Recent changes in my life have required me to change some prices and options in my commission information. Check it out to get the down low.

Commissions are still closed at this time, because of the holiday season and how crazy busy life gets during them.

It's been a long and unbelievably stressful road, but I'm starting to get better. Everything still hurts, but doesn't hurt as badly or as often as it did before. Art from me might be slow, but I think I can tentatively say that my hiatus is over. Woop woop.

I already forgot if I let y'all know in my last deviation, but I injured my hand at work last month. It's more like a year's worth of wear and tear finally made it give up last month, but injury is shorter on paperwork. Anyway, while I go through the long and maddening process of trying to get better, I might as well announce that I will not be making any new artwork. Honestly, I have no idea how long this hiatus will be and that makes me the saddest. I'm not a very good normal person and losing my one outlet in drawing hasn't been a fun time.

See you all around.

Like art? Like people learning about art? Like Chuck Jones starting a center so people can learn about art? Show your support this Friday by attending the Red Dot Auction at the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity in Costa Mesa, CA!

I have a piece in the auction and will be there for both the preview night and the auction night, itself. Red Dot tradition dictates that all the paintings' artists be kept a mystery until after pieces are bought. If you want to find out what I created, you'll just have to go! or wait until the auction is over and i post about it

Tickets are $25 and you can find out more info here:

Just switching out my journal for one that isn't so... not relevant anymore.

Anyway, I'm accepting commissions! Since moving out to California, money's been kinda tight and if I could put this whole drawing thing to good use, I would love to make some awesome art for awesome people. More information can be found in my Featured Deviation right over there to the left, but feel free to leave a comment or send a note if you have any further questions.

Hello, everyone!

Free Comic Book Day is tomorrow! So exciting! Even more exciting is that I'll be working a gig that day! If you're in the Huntington Beach, CA area, come by and visit me at Phat Collectibles, where I'll be a featured artist. I'll be selling prints, doing sketches, and pretty much just hanging out and loving to chat. Come visit!

Alrightythen! So if anyone has been keeping up with my blips of text posts amongst all my reblogs, I’ve been pretty anxious about some things for the past month or so. Now that I have a guarantee that it’s happening, I feel all right announcing it here. I’ve been offered the chance to transfer my current part time job to a full time job out in California (if that gives a hint to what the top banner is referencing there). It’s a pretty big haul going from the farthest point on the east coast to the farthest point on the west coast. I’m not sure if the pay they’ve offered me will be enough for me to live off of in a decent place, so that’s where I need your help! If you want to get some nifty art to fund the “HOLY COW MEG IS GOING TO HOLLYWOOD” fund, feel free to drop me a line! Every little bit helps!

Thank you and I love you all! Here goes everything!

Hi, guys! After spending an afternoon wrestling with it, I finally got livestream to work! Right now, I'm working on a new dialogue test with Maestra, but might dabble in other stuff later.

Hey, DA crowd! Long time, no see. I'm not even sure if anyone visits this dusty old page anymore.

Anyway, I'm still around, just not as able to turn out as much personal art as I used to. Since I graduated college, life's been kinda busy for me. I have a job that fluctuates between part time and full time, as well as a couple freelance projects in between. SR's kinda fallen by the wayside as a result, but I'm trying to get back on my feet with it again. I can't guarantee a whole lot, since everything's been so unpredictable, but I'm going to try!

See y'all around! <3
